After working for Southern Bell for a number of years\, Chuck attended the Nova Southeastern University Center for the Study of Law (now known as the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law)\, earning his Juris Doctor degree (cum laude) in 1980. Chuck then continued his education at the University of Florida\, earning his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) in 1981. \n\nChuck and his wife\, Karen\, a Critical Care Nurse originally from Jamaica\, live in Altamonte Springs\, Florida. Outside of work\, Chuck is an avid Orlando Magic basketball fan\, attending as many home games as possible.
