Make plans now to attend NAIFA South Florida Legislative Day, Thursday, Oct. 5 at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant in Dania Beach. Speakers will include NAIFA-Florida Lobbyist Tim Meenan, who will bring the latest life and health news from the Florida legislature and the Department of Financial Service. Lee Gorodetsky, the NAIFA-Florida representative to the Citizens Market Accountability Advisory Committee (MAAC) will provide an update on the status of Florida’s property market including its impact on Citizens. In addition, there’ll be a panel discussion on property insurance and other insurance issues impacting NAIFA members in South Florida. NAIFA-Florida President Jeff Chernoff, from Tampa, and CEO Tom Ashley, from Tallahassee will also be in attendance.

Check-in opens at 3:00 and the program begins at 3:30. Stay for a complimentary Happy Hour immediately following the program. This event is being hosted by NAIFA-Broward and is open to all members in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beaches. Registration (see link below) is required with space limited to the first 45 who register. Fee is $10.
